HP 1600 Printer
For anyone who believed that they couldn't afford to buy a color laser printer, may I humbly draw your attention to the 1600 printer from HP? With a retail average price of $299.00, the HP 1600 printer is simply affordability brought home. A color laser printer for under $300.00 was unthinkable not too long ago, but the cheap HP 1600 printer offers the quality and functionality of color laser technology at a price that won't break you. While the retail price already makes the HP 1600 cheap, some online bulk and overstock retailers have gone the extra step and now offer discount HP 1600 printer stock, with prices that go even cheaper (you can also find it cheaper by finding the HP 1600 for sale somewhere). This makes it exceptionally easy to finally own your first color laser printer.

HP 1600 was actually the first in a family of basic color laser printers designed by HP for use by small businesses, workgroups or persons with small printing needs. It is not designed to handle the large output of a large business and should not be used as such. Like its sister model, the 2600n, the HP 1600 printer offers 8 pages/minute printing in black and white mode, and 6-7 pages/minute in color mode.
The HP 1600 printer does not offer HP wireless printer capability, but it does feature a 265 MHz processor with 16MB of memory, which should be enough to fulfill the needs of most small business or workgroup owners. The printer offers a primary sheet input tray with a maximum capacity of 250, as well as a secondary sheet input tray with matched capacity. The output tray on the HP 1600 printer is 125 sheets large, so while it can't handle the needs of a large business that prints thousands of pages each day, it should more than handle the needs of the savvy consumer looking for a simple printer at a good price. Picture printing, while not advisable with this particular model, is definitely possible with the high maximum resolution offered by the HP 1600 printer. HP 1600 camera accessories were not high on the priority list due to the primary target customer group being small businesses and workgroups, so the old fashioned method of uploading your pictures to your computer and then printing them is likely the way to go with picture printing through the HP 1600.
